Radiation Reception
Radiation travels in waves with cosmic radiation displaying the shortest wavelengths and radio waves the longest. These waves make up the electromagnetic spectrum. No animal is able to perceive the full spectrum but instead they are limited to a narrow range of wavelengths, typically between 380 and 760nm (visible light). Vision often refers to the perception of this narrow band on the electromagnetic spectrum.
